The puppy peed on the backseat of the Pontiac while she was stuck in freeway traffic... Suggestions?

Time to take it out back.... jkjkjkjkjk, What do you have at your disposal to clean it and what the seats are made of. If you have a shop vac, I would do an initial pass to suck up any that you can, then add water and cleaner, suck up, repeat until clean.

If your puppy is leaky put some sealant in it.

Is the pup generally a good rider? Our boxer loves the car, but freaks out in anything with a loud exhaust. When he was a puppy he almost threw up when the cooper exhaust was “popping”. He wont go near my mom’s vette (C5 headers back.)

Whatever cleaning product you choose, you will probably have to pull the back seat out to get to all the areas where the pee went.
We test-drove an Enclave a few years ago. When we arrived, it was idling in the lot with the a/c on full blast. Strange, I thought. After the test drive, I shut it down so we could talk price. After a while, we opened it again so we could see how the third row folded. We were hit with a wall of vomit smell.
While it looked clean, they obviously didn’t tear the carpet out to get into the cracks and crevices where the vomit was hiding.

The rear seat comes out easily. Remove it, clean it with a steam cleaner/Bissel with a pet deodorizer liquid. In the meantime, put down a big blanket you hate and let the dog ride on that, if needed.
Seat should dry relatively quickly, reinstall when it does.
This will teach you, you should always Mitt Romney-style crate the dog on the roof for trips that involve distance or traffic.

She’s normally great (for a puppy). Really odd...

FOLEX baby http://www.amazon.com/Folex-Carpet-S…
That stuff works wonders on upholstery in cars. Just follow all directions.
DO NOT SCRUB HARD! You will fray the material.

If you have some Oxy Clean at your disposal, mix up a bit and spray it on the area in question. Use a soft bristled brush to work it into the fibers. Either blot with something highly absorbant, or use a wet/dry vac to help lift the moisture.

I use an Oxyclean pet spot remover. Just spray and dab. Should be fine.

An insurance fire ...

Burn it. It’s a Pontiac anyways.

Piddle pad for the back seat. Maybe a waterproof mattress liner/topper would work as well.

Yea, now that I’m thinking about it Miles never pees anywhere but outside. However, every once and a while usually after we have people over he goes on what I like to call a “piss parade”. He sneaks off somewhere and then pees while walking and covers as much ground as possible. If she doesn’t keep doing it, I wouldn’t sweat it too much.

not enough for your pup apparently..
We got one of these to clean up after our pup, and then kids.
But it’s also cleaned out a few project cars during it’s life..

Get a cat. Leave it at home.

She might be a bit scared of the cars around her....but the rear seat is removable by what I presume a 10 mm bolt, and perhaps steam clean it.

Kill it with fire!
Oh, the car, not the puppy!
Then use the insurance money to get her that 6 you were lusting over.

I read that as oxy-acetylene. Which I’m pretty sure would have basically the same result.

Nature’s Miracle spray or Folex. Rubber seat covers.
